Condorspots pushed her head against the door of Dreamy Furniture to open it. She had been here before with her mate, Robinmist, and Rapidmoon. The grey-she cat had told her that her application had been accepted and she would start work today. She took a small amount of time looking around the place again, before taking her place near a cash register. Condorspots had been given a quick lesson the other day by Rapidmoon on how to calculate money. She was quite slow in learning, but had grasped most of the key elements. Rapidmoon, who also worked as a cashier, told her that the register (which Condorspots learned to be the machine she had saw the other day when she went job hunting) would do most of the work for her.

Scarmouth walked around the store with the money his brother trusted him with. He saw something that sparked his eye.

Darkblaze padded into the shop, his tail wrapped around his bag. He was here to get something for his study, as it looked kind of empty at the moment. He was going to buy a book shelf, for when he hopefully gets his paws on a few books in the future. He went over to the register. "Hello, I'm looking for a book shelf for my study," he meowed.

Condorspots was already at the cashier's counter, fresh from a break at Rapidmoon's home. "Hello!" she greeted the customer at the register. "Ah yes, follow me," she guided the tom over to an isle lined with bookshelves. "They're each $20. We'll make sure to ship it straight to your house for easy handling."

Darkblaze greeted the stranger with a smile. "Hello," he replied. He followed the cashier to the bookshelves. He found a simple red shelf and gestured towards it with his tail. "Can I buy this one please," he asked.

"Sure!" Condorspots beamed. Walking back to the cash register she relived a sheet of paper from under the counter and took out a pen from a drawer. "Your name and address please."

The she-cat quickly wrote the information down on the sheet. "Would you like to pay up front or once it's delivered?"

Darkblaze took the money out of his bag and put the $21.60 on the counter. "Thank you," he purred. He picked up the receipt and put it in his bag. "I need to head off now," he yawned, feeling tired. "Goodbye." Darkblaze then padded out the door, heading home.

Condorspots mewed a small goodbye. This job wasn't as hard as clan work, nor as dangerous. She decided to hang it up for the night and return home to a nice dinner before bedtime. She left the store, and sleepily padded home.
